Some summer fun

I must explain a few of these... Micah is wearing black gloves in the picture with Malachi because he was helping me pull weeds and he needed some gardening gloves too. Malachi is doing "SOOOO big" in the last picture... yes, he does tricks! And the one with Malachi and the assortment of balls was a true candid picture. John had set him up in the grass with a few options to play with. I like to call the picture, "No pressure." And Micah LOVES to be chased. The sweet sound of his squeel when we're chasing behind him is the sound of heaven.

Malachi is crawling!

These were taken with my sports setting... so they all happened pretty quickly in that order... you can add your own commentary! Yeah, Malachi!

Ode to Sadie

Since it's such a big part of Micah's world, I had to have a section just for Micah and Sadie. One is so lucky in life to have a friend with which to share so many of life's joys. They "get" each other and accept each other. It's refreshing and real. And funny -- I asked Micah the other day who lived in his heart... He said, Sadie... and Jesus. :)

Grandma Sudi and Grandpa Robert come to visit

G'ma Sudi and G'pa Robert came all the way from Oregon to enjoy our "no-humidity and 70's" week of weather. It was so great to spend time with them. Micah and Malachi warmed up to them within minutes even though it had been a while since we'd seen them. They are both so fun and easy going -- our time together was a blast.

Micah is THREE!

Micah is three and I can't believe it. It has been such a blessing in John's and my life to have the privilage to raise this wonderful little boy. Grandma Barb, Uncle Mat, and Uncle Thomas came over to celebrate...and some friends who feel like family (the Houses). So, we celebrated Sadie's birthday too (hers is June 6th). Micah (and John and me and Sadie) are enjoying his trampoline he got for his birthday -- immensely. Thanks Grandma Sudi!

Malachi rolls with the punches

Malachi is eight months old now... and he loves to lay on the ground and ROLL. Micah doesn't want to miss out on the action and will often lay down with him and roll too! Malachi has gotten up to all fours a few times... He can't stand to stay still for too long. His little legs are always kicking and moving. I'm doomed the day he starts running!

Early Father's Day appreciation

It's not Father's Day yet, but I just had to post these pictures early and give a shout-out to such a fantastic and involved father. This is John on a "bike-ride" with Micah. He digs in the sand, rolls around on the ground, creates with playdough, pretends with trains, paints on the wall and anything else that may delight his sons. His first priority is to make time for his family. What a lucky little klan we are to have such a loving and devoted papa-bear! We LOVE you Daddy!
