Pool Fun with Friends

We put up a seasonal pool for the boys every year, and though it is small, they have a blast in it (especially when friends come over)!

My only regret is that I didn't get a picture of Mathias swimming in this pool.  He really took off this year with his swimming!  He can swim underwater and has no fear!  He may have enjoyed the pool more than anyone.  That kid is a fish.

Micah's 7th Birthday

Micah turned seven!  A pizza party and Go Fish! concert were on the agenda.  Fun times.

Summertime starts

 We've put our little pool up and the boys are in swimming trunks constantly. 

We LOVE summertime. Green grass, long walks, bike rides, and water fights.

Micah's First Piano Recital!!

There were eighteen young performers -- three boys and the rest girls.

He was also the youngest. We were proud. :)

My storage space ran out half-way through Micah's recital.  I was so upset!  It got so cute.  But here is the beginning.  Micah was the first one to perform.  His piece was called "Catch Me."

Well, in order to fish at Grandpa's, you need bait.  And an untilled garden in Iowa-farm-country is a great place to find night crawlers.  Blech!
