So, we never actually got to the huge falls at Mill Creek falls, because we loved it at the boulders so. much. Huge rapids, huge boulders, huge cliffs, and huge fun!

We had to hike in a little ways to get to the boulders, but the boys did great! This is where Micah let out his second and third "woo-hoos" of the trip. :)

Oregon 2010 -- The falls

We went to the Rogue river gorge... very loud, lots of falls, very beatiful.

As we watched the falls, the power held within mass amounts of rushing water was made manifest before us. There are crazy amounts of energy in the air as one watches the thick walls of water aggressively overtake the landscape. We had to raise our voices to talk over the constant roar of the gorge. As we stood over the falls, watching the white spray of water fall heavy, Micah let out an unbridaled, "Wooo-Hoo!!" ...the first one I've ever heard come out of him. :)
